2007 Police Reunion Tour

The Police have announced a 2007 world tour, reuniting after two decades apart, for a global tour that begins May 28th in Vancouver.
The Police are expected to tour (mostly in arenas) from North AmeriCanada to Europe, back to the United States and then to South America, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Details on all shows will be posted here in the coming weeks.
The Police tour is being sponsored by Best Buy and the Police are planning to donate proceeds of the tour to Water Aid, an international charity dedicated to helping people escape the stranglehold of poverty and disease caused by living without safe water and sanitation.

The Police rose to become one of the most popular groups in the world in the early 1980s and even though there was never an official break-up, each band member pursued his own solo career after their Synchronicity tour ended in March 1984.The Police performed as the opening act of the 49th Annual Grammy Awards on February 11, 2007.
